What is Power Summit?

Power Summit 2025 is envisioned as a high-level forum designed to accelerate cross-border power trade, attract climate-resilient investments, and deepen collaboration among governments, development partners, private sector actors, technical experts, and industry leaders. With Nepal’s hydropower potential estimated at over 200 GW of which only a small portion is currently harnessed, the summit offers a strategic platform for exploring new investment opportunities and partnerships to meet the ambitious national target by 2035.

Through meaningful dialogue and regional cooperation, Power Summit 2025 seeks to contribute to a resilient and interconnected South Asian energy market while supporting Nepal’s national development priorities.
